I had the pleasure to work with Bravery Magazine on illustrations throughout their Kind Issue that tell the story of Dr. Maya Angelou’s life. The narrative illustrations span across this author and poet’s life from childhood to her early experiences with literature to finding her voice through writing and her civil rights activism.
