Studio Behind the Scenes
Here's a quick look at what's been going on in my studio lately.
This is a work in progress painting that I've been working on slowly over many months. Been testing out different techniques and materials and trying to push out of my comfort zone:
An extra mini Bloom Upon Bloom for my mom measuring in at 2 x 3.5 inches. Thinking about painting more at this mini-mini size:
Paper and materials tests to figure out what I want to use for a long term project. Something about the mundane repetition helps me work out problems:
Upon completing a detailed sketch of a page for my upcoming book, I'd swap out this little face . . .
. . . for this one. It's the little things that get me through a big deadline. Gotta find joy in the small things.
