Messy Studio Behind the Scenes

I've been painting A LOT lately as I work towards a book deadline, finalizing upcoming fabric collections, and working on some upcoming wholesale partnerships. Here's a look at the messy behind-the-scenes plus what's happening between working.

A lot of paint testing to understand how colors interact over and under and next to each other.

Sometimes I use little pieces of tracing paper to test out options for adding small elements that weren't in my sketch.

I'm using a mix of colored pencil, acrylic gouache, and wax crayons.
